We have below infrastructure for configuring to the SQL HA -
Hardware and Software Setup
• Windows server standard 2016
o Domain Server - (Server-1)
o Primary Server -(Server-2)
o Secondary Server -(Server-3)
o No additional shared storage (NAS),
• SQL server standard 2016 Install on –
o Primary Server
o Secondary Server
Domain Controller configuration has been done on Server-1
Windows Failover Server configured on –
o Primary Server (Server -2)
o Secondary Server (Server -3)
SQL HA configuration on Server-
o Primary Server
o Secondary Server
o Database instance using failover cluster instance for data log.
Requirement :- need to be configured SQL redundancy (HA) on server-1 and Server-2
Challenges:
SQL redundancy fail during live operation
