We have a SQL 2012 setup that offers multi-subnet failover ability, but are having issues to connect to it with Multisubnetfailover = true. The connection jus times out.
After some research, we were able to connect without the timeout issue from Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 after installed thishot fix . Because this hot fix does not apply to server 2008 standard, we found theequivalence for server 2008. However, for some reason the patch failed to fix the issue in server 2008. We still time out if we set Multisubnetfailover to true. Please help..
