Hi,
we have a 3-node Cluster (Win 2008 R2), configured for node majority.
What we need is to permanently disjoin one of the nodes. The node will then be formatted and used for other purposes.
We have 6 SQL 2008 R2 installations plus a SSAS clustered Installation plus DTC.
Provided that we fail-over all groups to the rest of the nodes and configure the cluster for using a Quorum, do we just EVICT the node?
Is there a need for any other actions before evicting (e.g. remove server to be evicted from being a possible cluster group owner)?
