We plan to shrink some of our data files to reclaim the unused space. we are thinking of shrinking files in very smaller chunks and see if it works. All the files in the file groups are aprox 800gb in size and we have two file that are 1tb in size that
have more actual data in it than the smaller files. After the shrink process we'll still be left with an imbalance. Is there a way to achieve that balance of data across the files so that we can enable scalable and consistent I/O performance across the EBS
volumes in AWS.
