I've some query regarding upgrading SQL 2014 SP2 CU18 to SQL 2014 SP3 with latest cumulative update CU4.
Can I directly upgrade my existing SQL 2014 SP2 CU18 to SQL 2014 SP3 CU4 or I need to upgrade to SQL 2014 SP3 first then install latest cumulative update CU4?
I've three node cluster environment with one primary and two secondaries with synchronous commit (Automatic)between primary and secondary and other is asynchronous commit (manual).
Normally with three nodes, we start with both secondaries node first, then perform fail-over and patch primary node.
Correct me if I missed out something.
Also, anything I need to consider before I start patching?
Please help.
