How to fix "a clustered space is in a degraded condition and the requested action cannot be completed at this time" when doing cluster aware update

We have one SQL server failover cluster and configured cluster aware update on the cluster.

When we do cluster aware update, it failed on nodes and error message is something like "a clustered space is in a degraded condition and the requested action cannot be completed at this time". 

How can we fix this? Thanks a lot.
