We have 2 node (Primary and 1 Secondary replica) SQL Server Always on running. We understand that it is possible to enable Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) in both primary and secondary replica which will encrypt data files, log files and backup files. But the transactions which will be transfers (while data in motion) from primary to secondary database will it be encrypted? Please provide reference link if you know the answer. I need to know whether data transfer between primary and secondary database is secure either TDE is enabled or not.
