We are planning to built a DR on a different WSFC

We have a server on a WSFC and we need to create a DR that will be on a different WSFC.  We will be using Microsoft SQL server 2017 standard edition.  We are trying to find out if we can use an availability group to do so.  Is this possible or is there a better way.
