I have two old SQL 2008 instances on physical servers, that have mirrored databases on them.
The server team are planning to restart both servers.. Do I need to break mirroring and then set it up again in order to do this or will the mirroring automatically resume? Does the order in which the Instances are taken down matter? i.e. Mirror first then Principal or Principal First then Mirror?
