I just set up a SQL AG cluster on SQL 2017 across subnets. When I stop the SQL service on the primary the secondary database changes to resolving. My expectation was the failover would happen and secondary will change to the Primary. I can force the failover but I wanted it to be automatic. What am I missing here?
