I have a db running under simple recovery mode. I am really pressed at disk space, and we have a long running script that keeps failing with "no space left on the device" error. I noticed the log file is very large. I plan to set the max log file size but at the same time I want to know that the database is in the log-truncate mode - perhaps from the database itself.
Is there any metadata that could tell me this?
